The world owes you nothing.
It was here first.

driving in my car in the rain.
and then that song came on.
& it reminded me of you.
and all the memories of us.

i figure life's a gift.
and i don't intend on wasting it.

You can see that he thinks about her,
but he doesn't make a move.
He thinks she's too beautiful for him,
& she thinks he's too amazing for her.

things don't happen for no reason,
they happen to teach you something.

I hope, even though we have moved on, you still think of me when ever that song comes on the radio.

She doesn't care if you call her & wake her in the middle of the night. She hates arguing, but you know she's good at it. She's terrified of the dark, but when she thinks of you... She smiles. She laughs at your jokes, even if they're dumb. She loves the way you stare at her & she wouldn't change that for the world.

She could talk about him all day, but when he's actually there, she's speechless.
